Everyone	We need to hear you before we see you. IT IS HOT and the FLIES ARE BAD Don’t freeze at the beginning.  Keep working but do not make sudden moves until Basil is through with his lines. Celebrate more. Do not wait on lines in the opening scenes. song louder and ENNUNCIATE the words we need to hear the deeper voices  don't run into the curtains make sure you’re not blocking people if you are being blocked, MOVE don't stand in a straight line don't move the curtains, its distracting  don't turn your back to the audience we can see you running across try to make your heels silent don't turn your back make sure you are in the light ACT HOT make people noises so it's not an awkward silence DONT BLOCK PEOPLE getting water scene STILL BLOCKING IN WATER SCENE don't have a profile, cheat towards us i can see someone looking at their script backstage  know your lines!! just keep going!!!!! celebrating is not believable don't hit the curtains be quiet backstage •get out of sight be careful back stage DICTION ON THE SONG. Don’t talk upstage We can only get better.  Figure out a goal based on this critique and fix some of the problems.
Mia	I’m not sure who you are.  If you are a kid, you need to wear the overalls.  The skirt doesn’t work because you are not acting like a lady either.
Mia and Jaden	Don’t run.
Buddy	Be playful at the beginning and be normal.  We want to see the change between you pre drowning and post drowning. The rod begins dipping when water is found. Up until then it has not moved. Be excited BECAUSE the rod dips. Be mentally challenged throughout the show.  Be consistent with walk, giggles, and itching. Melvin	know where you're going and freeze when you're supposed to. You were not engaged in the scene during the last drowning. Hit consonants and be Melvin, not an actor.
Luella & Basil	You are blocking Gage at the beginning.
Norma	Sing earlier – ask Ashlynn which song. Learn Rock of ages Watch a cadence in your speech.  You are sweet.  Walk faster humming.  Baptizing – be excited and hurry off. Maybe we should give you an apron that you can take off on your way out. The man means to give up preaching - sooner reaction to them guessing 702 is not believable don't draw our every word
CC Buddy Jennie Mae	bath scene was too slow •keep the scene moving you are my sunshine sounded horrifying
CC & Ferris	Coffee is hot.
Goldie	React to the short prayer Give it up – be shocked. Move minimally while Norma and Luella are talking about you.
Basil	DICTION and not so choppy I was locking up the garage – earlier Ringworm can’t breathe was lost.
Jennie Mae	Hair in braids Slow down whatcha wanna go scaring him Do not screech
CC, Ferris, Goldie	Coffee is hot
WOMEN	Hold coffee cups by handles. Pull your hair back
Darlene, Jaden, Jennie Mae	The worm scene must seem spontaneous and exciting. React bigger to naked.
CC Buddy	You can’t make up lines with the suitcase scene – only in crowd scenes. Breathin –CC is behind Buddy
Lights	Actors must be in the lights.
Breck	Harmonica between breathin and mad at Norma
Mia and Preston	You were not in the river scene. You were staring someplace else.
